Monday, October 19th#9255 (New 10/17)
As chaos ensues at the magazine, Jack shows up with changes to the Jabot ad for Phyllis. Billy arrives with Delia for Chloe. Billy challenges Chloe to prove she didn't follow him to the cabin by signing the divorce papers. Meanwhile, Billy overhears Phyllis admit to Chloe that she isn't sure she wants to run the magazine anymore. Billy asks Jack to release money from his trust only to have Jack refuse. Later, Billy offers to buy the magazine from Phyllis. At Newman Enterprises, Victoria asks Michael for advice on how to handle the SEC investigator and wonders if she is in real trouble. Later, Michael refuses to release Victor's medical records and quickly ends the meeting with the SEC. Nick and Victoria meet with Michael and consider all the possible leaks that could have gone to the SEC about Victor's condition. At Newman, Adam inquires about why the SEC is there and Victoria covers but Adam loves watching her squirm. Adam offers to help with the SEC and Victoria unknowingly takes him up on his offer.
Ashley is mortified to learn that Nick and Sharon were planning to name their little girl Faith but Nick puts her fears to rest as he holds the baby. Alone, Victor is caught of guard when Ashley informs him that she wants the ranch in her divorce settlement. Victor asks Michael to handle his divorce to Ashley. Jack is sideswiped when he learns Adam is Faith's godfather. Meanwhile, Victor explains to Nikki and Michael that he is giving Ashley the ranch. Traci explains to Jack that she needs to leave Genoa City if she ever hopes to move on from losing Colleen. Meanwhile, Sharon shares with Adam about the three girls she has lost and Adam starts to feel even guiltier for what he has taken from Sharon.
Billy's Offer to Phyllis
Now that Billy's days at Jabot are a thing of the past, he is ready to make his next career move. After he overhears Phyllis telling Chloe that she isn't sure she wants to continue on with Restless Style, he offers to buy the magazine!
"I think that he recognizes something something that is different from the family business and there was an opening," explains Billy Miller. "He honestly thinks he can have a go at it. He's been struggling to prove his own worth and has made some bad choices, but he wants to be recognizes as his own man and be valued."
Later, when Billy asks Jack for a big loan, his big brother doesn't seem too happy to help out. "Well, Billy did sleep with Jack's wife," cracks Miller. "Things are still tense between them. But Billy is definitely disappointed because he really wanted Jack's support in this."
Ashley agrees to give Billy the cash, but will Billy be able to handle this new venture effectively? "It's a different side of Billy," winks Miller. "You'll finally get to see him take command and be in charge. It'll be interesting to see how he handles it!"

This week's issue of Soap Opera Weekly features November Sweeps Previews for Days of Our Lives, The Young & The Restless, As The World Turns, One Life to Live, All My Children and General Hospital.
Y&R: November Sweeps Preview
This November, Genoa City is full of "romance and revenge," reveals Co-Head Writer Scott Hamner.
- Victor forces Adam and Nick to work together at Newman Enterprises, causing tensions to rise. Adam pokes at Nick to see how far he can push him before he finally breaks, while Nick gives Adam "menial" tasks to see if he can get Adam to quit. This will be a pressure cooker storyline.
- Sharon continues to be Nick's Achilles heel. She and Adam have many things in common, such as the bad choices they've made in the past and the secrets they've kept. Adam tells Sharon he had sex with Rafe. Because Adam exposes himself, Sharon lets her guard down too and reveals some of her own secrets. Adam takes advantage of Sharon's vulnerability and it pushes all of Nick's buttons.
- Chance is stabbed when he intervenes in a robbery. Chloe's world shifts when she learns he's fighting for his life in the hospital. She really cares about him. Nina begins to see Chloe in a new light when she sees how genuine and deep Chloe's feelings are for Chance.
- New problems are on the horizon for Billy and Mac. Billy buys Restless Style from Phyllis and he uses the magazine to do a terrible expose on Victor. It goes against everything Mac believes in. She and Billy struggle over their values when it becomes evident that they're more different than they ever realized. Later, Billy publishes an online hatchet job against Victoria and it pushes his relationship with Mac to the breaking point. Can their relationship ever be repaired?
- Cane and Lily have been kept physically apart because of her illness and her trust issues with Cane, but they will make love in November for the first time in a very long time. Their love story will continue to blossom as they make huge plans for the future.

As Victor and Nikki continue to bond, Ashley stuns her husband with a surprising request this week: She wants his house in their divorce settlement!
"Ashley still has a daughter in school and thinks being on the ranch is a great life," explains Eileen Davidson. "When Victor and Nikki split years ago, Nikki raised their kids there and Victor moved into the penthouse. Ashley figures it's only fair she get to stay there with her children too."
Victor, on the other hand, doesn't take the news well at all. Explains Davidson, "Victor thinks it's unbelievable that Ashley could expect to have the ranch."
When Nikki gets wind of what Ashley is demanding, she is angry and rushes off to confront her. "Nikki tells Ashley she thinks it's appalling that she would want the ranch," says Davidson. "Ashley is like, 'Well, why not? YOU wanted the ranch!' Ashley throws it right back in Nikki's face."
The confrontation gets heated when Ashley reveals that she heard Victor declaring his love for Nikki in his hospital room. "Ashley basically tells Nikki she's over all of it. She's over Victor, she's over her, and she's over being pulled back into that whole romantic mess they're in."
Nikki leaves, upset, but Ashley is happy. "Ashley's not even angry at Nikki. Ashley is not going to be stuck in this rivalry anymore. She's tired of being pulled back into this triangle. It took too much of a toll on her. She's finally learned."
Later, Billy goes to see Ashley and he's thrilled when she announces to him that she and Victor are divorcing. "Ashley's happy to have Billy's support. After everything she want through, she's happy to have him on her side."
Billy asks Ashley for a loan so that he can buy Restless Style from Phyllis -- a loan that both Jack and Traci have already declined -- but Ashley tells him she'll give it some thought. Explains Davidson, "Ashley believes in Billy. If anybody would help him, it would be her. She's feeling happy and magnanimous."
But as for the old Mr. Mustache? "Ashley lost respect for Victor and the way he goes about things," sighs Davidson. "It's all about his ego. Other people's feelings don't matter to him. Ashley doesn't want to live with that anymore."

As Sharon continues struggling with the aftermath of her baby's death, Ashley enjoys being a new mother to baby Faith -- unaware that the child is actually Sharon's. This week, Sharon comes in contact with Faith for the first time as she brings Ashley some things for the newborn.
"It's a little awkward when she comes over because Ashley feels sorry for Sharon losing her baby," explains Eileen Davidson. "She feels a little badly being happy about her child while Sharon is going through all of this pain."
Meanwhile, Ashley's divorce from Victor gets ugly when Ashley asks for the Newman ranch in her settlement. Nikki isn't happy about Ashley's request and the two of them have it out! "Ashley doesn't really blame Nikki for her marriage to Victor falling apart," explains Davidson. "She blames him for bringing Patty to town and for all of the lies. And it was Victor who was indirectly responsible for Colleen getting kidnapped by Patty and then falling into the lake. But she is hurt that she overheard him declaring his love for Nikki at the hospital. The three of them have been down this road before."
Despite Nikki's protests, Ashley stands firm in her demand for the ranch, explaining to Nikki that she wants Faith to have the same lifestyle that Victoria and Nick had growing up.
By week's end, Victor meets with Michael to discuss the divorce proceedings and a shocking decision is made!

John and Natalie find Pamela Stuart’s dead body at the Buchanan Lodge, however Jared is nowhere to be found. John locates Jared’s wallet during a search of the crime scene on Monday, October 19. Viki and Charlie are floored to learn of Jared’s confession to Natalie. Across town, Gigi and Rex make an appointment with Marty for some couple’s therapy. Shortly before their session, Gigi is heartbroken when Rex leaves after receiving a frantic call from Natalie. Left alone, Gigi accepts Schuyler’s invitation to accompany him to a concert. Kim looks for a sugar daddy in the form of a rich, mature (but very much married) Buchanan man. On Friday, October 23, Brody is forced to leave Jessica’s side after getting a call of distress from his sister Nadine in Michigan. Not long thereafter, Jessica receives a call of her own, and is certain that it’s Nash’s voice on the other end of the line. Elsewhere, Layla calls a time out when Cristian leans in to kiss her, claiming it wouldn’t be fair to Evangeline if they started dating. Starr and Langston coax the truth out of Dorian that her engagement to Amelia is a sham. Even so, she and Amelia try to convince the girls that their motives are good. Amelia informs Dorian that she and Nick have decided to hold a mass gay wedding ceremony. Fish witnesses Nick agreeing to marry Kyle. Later, Roxy questions Kyle’s motives. Fish’s feelings are hurt, even more so when John places him on administrative leave pending the outcome of Elijah’s complaint of his treatment of Ross. David and Dorian reminisce over their failed relationship, and agree that they once loved one another. However, David opts not to confess his present feelings for Dorian after seeing how happy she is when Amelia assures her that the mass gay nuptials will get her good press on Wednesday, October 21.

Although hesitant at first, Blair eventually acquiesces to Todd’s suggestion that Marty hypnotize her in an attempt to regain her lost memories. Later during the session, Blair is able to recall the events leading up to her fall out of the window at La Boulaie. Believing that the information could push Todd and Téa back together, Blair decides to set on it for the time being, and insists Marty do the same by citing doctor/patient confidentiality on Monday, October 19. Meanwhile, Téa challenges Todd to admit that he no longer loves her. Ross confides to his lawyer Elijah, who is also his brother, that he is falling in love with Blair. By Wednesday, October 21, Blair vows to pursue a lawsuit against Marty should she ever reveal anything about Todd and Téa’s secret love child. Even so, Marty warns Blair that she is heading down a slippery slope by withholding the truth. To get under Todd’s skin, Blair agrees to Elijah’s suggestion that she drop the kidnapping charges against Ross. When Todd takes Blair back to Dorian’s, she asks him to stay with her for awhile. Ross, now a free man, turns down Téa’s bribe, since it would mean severing all ties to “their” child. Afterward, Téa’s eyebrows are raised after learning that Ross and Elijah are brothers. On Thursday, October 22, deciding that recent events are nothing more than water under the bridge, Téa and Rachel mend their friendship. While commiserating on their complicated love lives, Téa discusses Todd and Ross, while Rachel talks about Greg and Shaun. Phylicia Evans demands to her son Greg that he distance himself from Rachel. Todd becomes Blair’s pawn. Téa explains to Rachel why she chose never to tell Todd about the child they share on Friday, October 23. And Elijah vows to help Ross locate “his” and Tea’s daughter.
A Closer Look: Heartache
After arriving in London, Nora pushes Matthew to make good on his threat to tell Kevin about her and Bo’s kiss. However, not wanting to hurt either Clint or Kevin, Matthew decides to keep his mouth shut on Tuesday, October 20. Bo and Nora feel that they have forever damaged their relationship with their son. After placing a call to the Seattle hospital where Matthew was supposed to have his surgery, Destiny is shocked to learn the appointment was cancelled and that the Buchanans never even arrived there. On Thursday, October 22, Kevin helps Matthew get settled in his new boarding school, where he meets his roommate Tom. Bo and Nora lean on one another for moral support. And Destiny expresses her concern to David, and is able to briefly talk to Matthew before their call is disconnected on Friday, October 23.

Following her fall out of a window, Blair still can't remember Tea's deep, dark secret, so she decides to seek professional help -- from Marty. Yes, she is that desperate. But the good Dr. Saybrooke is worth it, because Blair ends up remembering that Tea had Todd's child and never told him.
Question is: Will she use this info? We know she wants Todd all for herself, with Tea out of the picture. Look for that operation to kick into full effect this week. One element of that plan: pretend she's sicker than she is to get Todd to care for her.
But Blair can't count on the feelings between Todd and Tea being dead. Because, well, they're not. Poor Tea, in addition to dealing with Blair, has to put up with the threat of Ross exposing her child -- since he thinks it's his.
Amidst all this, we finally get to see the mystery child -- and they have a connection to Llanview that has nothing to do with Todd, Tea, Ross, OR Blair.
After discovering the body of a former relative, Natalie can't find Jared anywhere. And maybe that's for the better, because he looks G-U-I-L-T-Y.
While Charlie leans on Viki for support, Natalie (despite everyone trying to knock some sense into her) wants to believe in her husband's innocence. So she brings Rex into the fold and asks for his super magic PI skills to help.
For her part, Jessica doesn't know what's going on ... especially when she gets a call from her husband, Nash. Her dead husband.
Poor Matthew has been kidnapped -- by his parents! They've sequestered him in a London boarding school so he can't get back to the States and get the surgery that could let him walk ... but maybe kill him.
Matthew's furious and prepared to take drastic measures to escape jolly ol' England, including calling up cousin Kevin for help. Look for Dan Gauthier to appear as Viki and Clint's eldest son.
It's wedding fever in Llanview as Dorian remains steadfast in her determination to marry Amelia (and hopefully snag the mayor title -- and beat Viki -- in the process). Nick asks Kyle to marry him to help support the cause. A proposal that poor, lonely Fish witnesses. Will Dorian be the only one to say "I do"?
All this, PLUS: Starr and Cole find a respite from all the wacky Llanview hijinks; Gigi wants to go to couples' counseling; Layla and Cristian share a kiss; and Kim decides she wants a sugar daddy. Namely, Bo.

OLTL: November Sweeps Preview
Teases Head-writer Ron Carlivati: "We go to Michigan, we go to California, we go to Seattle and we go to London. We have a few surprises in sweeps -- surprise events, appearances, and the reveal of the big secret having to do with Rex."
- Bo and Nora decide to stay in London until Matthew can accept the situation. Clint isn't able to go with Nora because he's dealing with some drama of his own. Meanwhile, Jared may be the person stalking the family and he may actually be starting to kill people! In fact, people start dropping like flies.
- One example of colliding stories is that Matthew goes to school in London with Tea's secret child. A couple different kids are introduced at the school, so there's lots of fun and mystery at the beginning, leaving everyone to wonder which one is Tea's child. Bo and Nora are unaware of this, and Tea is unaware that Matthew is going to school with her child. Ross finds out their whereabouts and goes to London, so Tea heads to the school as well. The big question is, will Todd find out that he has a child, and if so, what happens next?
- Natalie asks Rex to help her find Jared before the police can. She wants to talk to Jared privately. She loves him and she wants to believe in him. Meanwhile, Rex has problems in his relationship with Gigi because Gigi is jealous of Schuyler and Kim. Gigi and Rex decide to go to couples counseling to deal with all their issues. Gigi has trouble accepting the fact that Stacy is having Rex's child; Rex doesn't like her relationship with Schuyler. Rex cancels on a counseling session because Natalie needs him and Gigi asks, "What case is more important than our relationship?" Later, Gigi gets drunk at work and Schuyler tries to help her.
- A big, gay wedding is planned for the eve of the mayoral election. This is Dorian's big plan to win the Llanview election: gays and the people who love them. Dorian wants to beat Viki at all costs. One of the four kids (Langston, Markko, Starr and Cole) has a very important role in the election that comes down to the wire. Nick proposes to Kyle, and later he does crowd control at the wedding because there are lots of protesters. Nick witnesses the hysteria and wonders if Kyle will be able to go through with it.
- Oliver and Cristian develop a solid friendship. Cristian shows up at the gay wedding because he sees that Oliver is there on TV, and he's worried about him having to witness this event. Layla shows up for the same reason. Cristian and Layla are thrown together even though they have sort of confronted their feelings.
- Rachel and Greg want to be together. The question is, how will Shawn handle this? Rachel and Nora have alot in common, as they're both smack in the middle of two brothers.
- Brody is called to Michigan by his long-lost sister, who we've seen before. Is he being lured away from Jessica on purpose, to keep her alone and vulnerable?
- Kim's goal is to land a rich husband. She sees a story in the newspaper about the Buchanan family and she realizes that they are the richest clan in Llanview. She sets her sights on one of the Buchanans during sweeps and decides, "That's the man I'm going to marry, and I'm going to be the richest woman in town!"
- Michael and Marcie will be seen in Seattle, which Carlivati describes as "sweet." She is further along in her pregnancy and Hope's birthday is in November. Marcie feels very reflective now that she's so close to having the baby. She and Michael will also have a small part in Matthew's quest to have his surgery.

OLTL: Old Lovers Inch Closer!; SOW Article Summary
Two of Llanview's ex-couples tiptoe back to each other this week: Todd and Blair & Bo and Nora.
Blair is trying to have it both ways. She's found out Téa's secret and is trying to keep it from him because she thinks it will bring Todd and Téa back together. However, at the moment, Todd is hovering over Blair in her hospital room. Todd's proximity ends in a kiss, much to Blair's delight.
Meanwhile, in London, the unbearable tension forces Nora and Bo to converse about their dilemma. Hillary B. Smith gives her thoughts on the situation. "She has loved her life with Clint but she's always been in love with Bo. I think that's the difference. It was a passion that went beyond anything she'd ever experienced, and when it went away, she kept trying to fill the void with somebody else. She finally married someone that she felt would at least help heal the hole in her soul, and then ... wham!"
But will that wham between Bo and Nora turn into, wham, bam, thank you ma'am?
OLTL: Worlds Collide!; SOD/SOW Article Summaries
Prior to the their arrival, Matthew believes he's going to Seattle to see Dr. Nance. Instead, Bo and Nora whisk him away to a boarding school in London. They have proof that Dr. Nance had only done the surgery twice. There's a whole bunch of stuff that comes out on the plane ride that supports their desperate decision making.
Back in Llanview, Blair remembers secret kid. Initially she wanted to just harm Téa, but she backtracks and realizes if she does tell Todd, the secret may reunite T'n'T. To add, she's trying to figure out how to play it with Ross, who hasn't told her about the secret. Meanwhile, Téa worries Ross will go after "their" child, just as Elijah promises to help his brother find the girl.
All paths are about to cross as Matthew's new boarding school happens to be Téa's daughter's home. That's right: One of Matthew's new classmates is Danielle, Téa's daughter who she is desperate keep hidden.
As for Matthew's old friends, separated by an ocean, Destiny goes to Matthew's brother, David, for help in finding him in London. Destiny will enlist David's help in taking her to London while Dorian is going to get married to Amelia.
David has a decision to make. Stay and help Dorian or will David try to champion the true love of Destiny and Matthew, and help get her to Matthew?

Making the case to Brooke and Donna about his true intentions regarding Forrester Creations, Bill wins Brooke to his side and she comes up with a plan.
Katie takes over as CEO of Forrester but is immediately caught between her family and Bill.
Pressed by reporters about her lack of qualifications, Katie reveals where her loyalties lie.
Stephanie returns to Jackie M, ready to take advantage of the situation at Forrester.
Earlier, Stephanie shared her secret with Thorne.
Jackie agrees to start a family with Owen, leaving him ecstatic, but soon began to regret her decision.
Taylor is concerned about Steffy's over-involvement in Owen and Jackie's marriage.
Steffy arrives to see Jackie, having no idea of the reason she was asked to come.
A romantic marriage proposal is made.
COMING: Brooke and Ridge keep a close eye on Bill.
